English Woods Publishing is an independent press based in Tampa, Florida, founded by author Dion Parker. We exist for one reason: to put out books that tell the truth and push people to do something with it.

The press started with one book — On Your Mark, Get Set, Grow — written for everyone who's been talked out of their own potential. Dion wrote it the way it needed to be written: plain, honest, and unwilling to let anybody hide behind an excuse. Rather than soften the edges to fit somebody else's catalog, he built his own.

We're independent and we plan to stay that way. We'd rather do one book right than ten books fast. Every title we publish has to earn its place — it has to be the kind of book you finish, then hand to someone who needs it.

We're not for everybody. We're for the people who already know it's time.
